About

Hi, I'm Eric.

I started The A(I) Team Essentials right here in Johnson City, with no formal tech or business background — just a conviction that small businesses deserve the same efficiency tools big companies already take for granted, without the enterprise price tag or the jargon.

"Every system I build has to be something I can explain in plain English — and something you could run without me, if you ever needed to."

The Story

Built from scratch, on purpose.

I'm not a developer, and I'm not running an agency with a bench of engineers. I'm one person, part-time, learning by doing — which turned out to be the right way to build this. Everything I recommend has to be something I can actually deliver and maintain solo, using no-code and low-code tools. That constraint isn't a limitation, it's the whole point: if I can't explain how something works, you shouldn't have to trust it.

I started with automation builds — practical fixes for whatever repetitive task was eating the most time — and grew it into three pillars because business owners kept asking for more than just a build: some wanted a second opinion first, some wanted their team trained, not replaced. There's no fixed order between the three. You come in wherever makes sense.

How I Work

A few things I hold to.

Plain language over jargon

If I can't explain it without buzzwords, I haven't understood it well enough myself yet.

Right-sized, not over-built

If a simpler fix solves your actual problem, that's what I'll recommend — even if it's the smaller invoice.

You should be able to run it without me

Unless you're specifically paying for Managed support, everything's built to be maintainable on your own.

Honest about limits

If something's too fragile or expensive for what you actually need, I'll say so up front.

Let's talk

Tell me what's slowing you down.
